I wanted to try the original Japanese camera that the Russians copied in the LC-A...Most of these were terribly overexposed. Don't know if it was operator error or if there is something wrong with the camera. This one is no LC-A that's for sure!

    most probably the meter does not work properly. have you checked the door seals?

    Oh dear. I have the Cosina CX-2 and the pics it takes are great. Almost too good compared to the LC-A. Did you set the ISO correctly; the little star shaped dial and window next to the lens? All it is is a little sensor window with an aperture in front of it. obscuring that with a finger or knuckle of your left hand could easily be done and would be unlikely to help matters :-)
