Uma velha parada/An old stop
A 2km da vicinal que liga São Manuel à Barra Bonita, a Estação de Rodrigues Alves te leva a um passado esquecido há mais de 50 anos. Com mais de 100 anos de existência, os prédios da estação lutam para permanecer de pé e contra o mato que invade de todos os lados. Ao lado, a antes próspera vila de Rodrigues Alves e a Fazenda Simões está sendo restaurada, o que só fortalece o contraste com a velha estação.//The 2 km from the road that connects San Manuel to Barra Bonita, Rodrigues Alves´ Station takes you to a forgotten past for more than 50 years. With over 100 years of existence, the station buildings struggle to stand up and against the weeds that invading from all sides. Beside, the once prosperous Rodrigues Alves village and Fazenda (Farm) Simões is being restored, which only strengthens the contrast with the old station.
