It was my first time to visit the Manila North Cemetery and the adjacent Laloma Cemetery. Even if it was still the eve of November 1st, waves of visitors, families and friends paying respect to their dear departed flocked to the place. And there was no need to worry about food and drinks as refreshments and decent meals were being sold in abundance inside along the major road. Armed with my XA2, I tried to capture the serenity I imagined both cemeteries have on normal days which must be so different from the frenzy I witnessed. Well at least the dead have around 360 days to rest peacefully as compared to the 5 days before, during and after the observance of Todos Los Santos.
