Dennis Stock, a celebrated Magnum photographer, took some of the most iconic portraits of Hollywood legendary actor James Dean on and off camera. As a tribute, I interpreted Stock's vintage monochromatic shots with a palette of colors, textures and emotions surrounding the funeral of my friend's father in Pampanga and the ritual gathering for lunch that ensued after the interment.
To my friend's father, James Dean and Dennis Stock, may you all rest in peace.
This is the second of a series of my analogue art on photos honoring Stock and Dean. I hope I could see more of Mr. Stock's awesome works for creative inspiration.
Loving analogue photography even more!
