Roman Theater of Orange
view of the rooftops of the city, above the Roman Theater . Orange was a Roman colony called Arausio, founded in 40 B.C. by veterans of Caesar’s Second Gallic regiment. It developed rapidly during the reign of Emperor Augustus and it was at this time, the 1st century A.D., that the theatre was built.This photo was shot on film. Taken by realrampage with a Lomography Sprocket Rocket (available in our Online Shop) loaded with Kodak Gold 400 (35mm) film in Orange, France.
