The People's Park in the Sky is what used to be Imelda Marcos' unfinished Palace in the Sky. After the downfall of the Marcos dictatorship the ruins had become a public park where people can have a 360-degree view of Tagaytay including the Taal Lake. Public jeepneys ferry people from the terminal to the entrance gate. After paying a minimal entrance fee, visitors have to climb an uphill road to reach the unfinished and now decaying structure that reminds Filipinos of abuse of political power.
