One of my favorite subjects is the statue of David. Well, the original is in Italy so what we have here in the Philippines are replicas - and in this case, an armless half-body replica. Shot against a layer picture of Hollywood couples during the so-called studio era which I turned into textured art pieces. The fusion of images resulted into a David looking at his visions of romantic couples - as if he is contemplating why on earth he is single.
