Despite being delicious, the high price of foods in Brazil made me long for value meals at Jollibee where an equivalent of 3 reals can already be a decent, filling and tasty meal complete with cold drinks. I realized that a regular meal that 20 reals could afford in the other part of the world can already buy me a full meal in a top-class restaurant in my country - and that would include already the dessert. Such difference enables me to see the world differently and appreciate the low cost of living in a Third World country such as the Philippines. Travel is a great teacher!
NOTE: Jollibee is the number one fasfood chain in the Philippines beating foreign enterprise such as McDonalds, KFC, Wendy's and Burger King.
