So Much Love For One Man
In January of 2011 one of Bolton's best-loved sons passed away. Nat Lofthouse was one of the finest forwards ever to play for Bolton Wanderers FC and one of the most loyal.
He spent his whole career (almost his whole life!) at the club, as player, manager, coach, president and was a legend in English football.
This was the scene outside the club's stadium a few days after his death. The tributes went on and on (I have a larger panoramic shot that is just too big to upload!) and even had shirts and scarves left by fans of other clubs.
Amazing how so many can feel so much love for just one humble man.
