These were shot at the Britannia Mine Museum. I was lucky enough to have a chance to wander through some of the abandoned buildings that hadn't yet been "opened to the public". The Britannia Copper Mine was in production form 1904 to 1974 and sadly is notorious for being one of the most contaminated historic mines in North America. Reclamation work is underway with some recovery of environment. This photo was shot on film. Taken by troch with a Nikon FM2 loaded with Ilford HP5 Plus film in Britannia Beach, BC, Canada. These tags describe this photo: mine, abandoned, machinery, old, weathered, rustic, canada, 35mm, black and white, and available light.
