La Sardina Wardrobe Artist Interview: Astralrae
Astralrae is a textiles designer on a mission to revive the appreciation for lost cultures, working up a storm with her fabrics. She is inspired by nature and is easily excited by prints, patterns and texture. Her La Sardina DIY, whom she affectionately calls 'Da Bai Tu', or Big White Rabbit, is a marriage of her loves of the above! Serene talks affectionately about her own Lomography cameras and the techniques and materials she used to adorn 'Da Bai Tu' in a poignant celebration of childhood memories. http://astralrae.carbonmade.com/
