Great place to get pretty much any films/slides developed. Can do cross processing and canvas wrapping. One of the only places in Bristol that can do lomography associated stuff.
Photographique opened its doors in April 2008 with the aim of providing quality photographic developing and printing services in an inspiring environment; with photography at its heart. It has always been important that photography dominated Photographique and all the staff that have worked and work at Photographique are keen photographers.
Since 2008, Photographique has established itself as a hub for photography enthusiasts in Bristol. Over the last two and a half years the gallery at Photographique, renamed The Photo Gallery in March 2010, paid host to a wide variety of individuals and groups including international recognised photographers. During this period Photographique was able to build strong reations with local groups including Second Look and the Bristol Flickr Group and also develop its ties with local colleges and univerisities.
In 2009, we launched the very first Bristol Festival of Photography which took place in May and June 2010. The festival included a hundred or so and events and exhibitions. It truly was a celebration of Bristols love of, and prowess in, the world of photography.
In early 2011, The Photo Gallery closed and Studio Photographique now occupies the space. The studio continues the trend of Photographique – offering top quality services at a competitive price. We always endeavour to exceed our customers expectations and the studio promises to help in this mission!
In April 2011, the first issue of Vignette magazine was launched. This free quarterly photography magazine was quickly distrinuted across the UK and has received glowing reviews. Vignette is full of news and reviews of photographic exhibitions and events in Bristol and beyond. There are exciting competitions and exhibition opportunities. Vignette promises to be as inspiring as The Photo Gallery at its best!
In April 2011, the dates for Bristol Festival of Photography 2012 were announced. The festival will take place between 3-31 May 2012 and will build on the organic, open-access success of the 2010 event and go further, including a number of core exhibitions and events. These core events will bring artists never seen before to Bristol and attract visitors to the city to see for themselves what Bristols photographers have to offer.
