Tinker on the fly: A new look for a (non-DIY) La Sardina

Granted, the two DIY editions of La Sardina are easy to customize: they simply get painted on or you decorated them with one of the dresses. With a little skill, this also works with the non-DIY-La Sardinas. Read on and I'll show you how to do it.

With just a few steps, you can switch the two covers of the La Sardina. You should be able to do this on the back part of the camera easily without instructions. For the front part, you just need to follow these steps:

1. Uncrew the lens counterclockwise:

2. Loosen the three screws:

3. Remove the lens mount from the camera:

4. Remove the Ring:

5. Loosen the 4 screws of the frame and remove frame and cover:

6. Paint, decorate or exchance the cover with a La Sardina Dress and put it all back together:

Finished! The only thing you need to consider is that the shutter is working properly. Make sure that the lens and screws are not overly tightened, when you put all back together and you will be all right. Give it a try and share the result with us! I appreciate you comments and likes!
