DIY Lomokino Slider

Watch to make your Lomokino videos a little bit more streamlined and less jumpy? Try making a DIY slider using this Tipster!

No matter how much we think that we have nerves of steel and command over our muscles, handholding a Lomokino shoot will result in bobbing and jumpy video! To avoid this, you can train with Tibetan monks to channel your chi, or just make a video rail instead! A video rail or slider makes sure that the videos, or in this case Lomokinos, are seamless. Dedicated sliders though are expensive so as always, we go the DIY route!

Materials:

  • 3 conduit wire holders/electrical boxes
  • 5 foot conduit piece
  • Connectors
  • Velcro
  • 1/4" to 3/8" screw adapter and bolt
