Making a Camera Lamp

So far we've had Tipsters using mounted film slides or broken cameras but never both at the same time. Well, there's always a first time for everything and today's the day!

  • 3 Cameras
  • Lamp Kit
  • Lamp Pipe
  • Cold weld compound
  • Spray Paint
  • Duct Tape
  • Clamps
  • Spatula

  1. Mix the cold weld compound
  2. Spread the compound on the camera’s hotshoe or top part
  3. Attach all three cameras together and use duct tape to make hold it in place
  4. Let dry for 24 hours
  5. Once dry, attach the lamp pipe at the back using cold weld compound again

Once you’ve got the base set, it’s time to make the lamp shade! Follow the instructions in one of our old Tipsters or the one from starsforstreetlights.
