DIY Holga Lenshoods by Mandi

Not all lens flares are welcome additions to our photos. To avoid these unsightly errors, you need to introduce some shade in your life!

I love the occasional lens flare now and then, but having it on every single one of your photos is no bueno. The solution to this problem is by adding a lens hood to shield away stray light. Just as long as you don’t aim the lens straight at the light source, you shouldn’t have a problem with flares.

That’s great and all, but where can I get a lens hood you ask? You create one of course! Don’t settle for drab and ordinary ones though. Mandi made four designs of lens hoods for the Holga – one to suit each of your moods! Just print these PDFs on sturdy paper and follow the instructions.
