Create Your Own Tilt Shift Lens!

Why spend thousands of dollars on an expensive tilt-shift lens when you cobble together one of your own? Here's how to do it!

Tilt-shift lenses are all the rage these days but they cost quite a pretty penny. They’re especially hard to get for analogue cameras as well, since it’s expensive and a specialty lens. If you really want to try it out without shelling out, go the DIY route!

Materials:

  • An extra camera body cap
  • Lens
  • Toilet plunger (yes)
  • Hot glue
  • An old VHS case
  • Craft knives

Now that’s a sordid list of ingredients! Check out the video for the steps on how to create your very own lens!
