Summer is here! It's time to go out and take photos under the sun! Here are some simple trick to make some perfect photos under the sun!
Summer has arrived! It’s a great time to go out. And the greater thing about summer is that great feeling you got from shooting under the sun. The light is perfect for us Lomographers to start taking photos!
The sun is really good for your film. For me, it throws away my worries about underexposing and lack of light. It makes me feel that my film is safe and it will make some great photos!
There are some tricks you can do while the sun is out there, the first one, and also my favorite, is to let the sun show up at the edge of you subject! You can do this by simply aiming at the right angle so the sunlight is able to show up on your photos
The next trick is the next step of the trick: Silhouettes! Making silhouettes is easier than trying to spell it (English is not my native language, sorry). The main idea of making a silhouette is blacken the object of your desire. To do it, you have to shoot against the sun! A Little note for you that making a silhouette is easier when you use a B/W films. Here is some example, some of it are not 100% blackened but it really makes a great silhouette:
The next trick is simple yet beautiful: Shoot the sky and the clouds! the sky of summer is the best sky for me, and yet the clouds of summer are just fascinating as well! They often make a beautiful result!
The next step is the mixture of the previous tricks: Doubles! Doing doubles under the sun makes it easier to take a multiple exposure, but you have to remember to only shoot only 2 exposures per frame, or you will get washed out the film.
So what are you waiting for? Go out there and take your own piece of art under the sun!
