Doubles with Flowers: Don't Waste the Negative Space!

You know how sometimes, you look at those photos that only take up part of the frame and wish you could do something with the wasted bits? Mother nature can help you with that!

My Fisheye camera is probably the one that has seen the most daylight, out of all my analog companions. Despite loving the photos, seeing black corners over and over again made me start thinking of ways to spice things up and use that “frame” around my picture. Then it occurred to me: flowers! A whole plethora of colours and subtle curves surrounding a main subject!

I chose to shoot relatively simple things in the fisheye part to just let the flowery blooms fill in the details. So I took the opportunity to register some characteristic places of sweet Lisbon as it is now, as well as simple, mundane things.

What are you waiting for? Go try it as well! :)
