Somehow I wanted to redesign another camera, after I had redesigned a few La Sardinas. I wanted to give another camera a new look. My choice fell on my Woca 120 GF, it's identical to the Holga 120 GFN.
You’ll need:
- Paper with pattern or design of your choice
- double-sided tape
- scissors
- transparent adhesive tape
- black marker pen
- pencil
I had for ages a nice paper from the craft store at home, with many white cats as a motive. The paper is about twice as thick as normal printer paper. Finally I had the idea to use this paper.
First I took off the back part of the Woca and stuck a piece of clear adhesive tape. With a black marker pen, I marked the boundary and the film window for a template. The adhesive film I took off again and stuck it on a paper. Using scissors, I cut out the template and put it on my design paper. With a pencil I outlined the template, and then cut out the back.
For the front, I have measured the size and cut out my paper and just rounded the corners on one side. I’ve stuck to the double sided tape and this on the camera.
Finished:
Finally, I made another PEARLGIRL shield for the back with a label printer. The edges of the paper I painted with the black marker, so that the edges are no longer noticeable.
Have fun with you new Holga!
Your Pearlgirl

Do have problems with the paper peeling off? I tried the same label on my cam, but it dropped off after one try :(
