Because I own tiny, old cameras from flea markets or from the 'Bucht', I wanted to present them for visitors and didn't want that they go to seed in a closet.
I’m not a big fan of glass cabinets. Either I don’t like them, or they are too expensive (then I would prefer to buy a new camera).
Some time ago CD-shelves crossed my way in a furniture shop and I had the idea to use them for my cameras. Once I bought just a shelf, then some time later a second and somehow the next day two other.
Thus my cameras now have enough room to stand around and look pretty. Of course, open shelves gathering dust, but it keeps limited until now because I use the cameras. That means that they don’t get dusty quickly.
I’m very satisfied with the simple and cheap solution. The shelves are very overcrowded (I just have to many equipment and photos) but this can you solve for yourself how you want.
Ferrania Eura: The Beauty I've seen the Ferrania Eura on Ebay and directly fell in love. Her look is beautiful. I just never expected that I would like their photos so much. I own cameras with a beautiful look but I don't like the photos they produce.
