Ever wanted to quickly focus the Holga without looking away from the finder? Now you can with this quick tipster!
I always liked shooting with the Holga 135 and 120, but the fact that you couldn’t quickly focus without looking away from the viewfinder meant I was restricted to pre-focused pictures (which isn’t all that bad).
I took advantage of the “flaw” in which the barrel of the lens was visible in the finder by attaching little ‘flags’ of tape on the 6 foot and 18 foot marks so they would be visible through the finder as I focused. I didn’t bother with the 3 foot and 30-infinity foot marks, because turning the barrel all the way brought you to that focal length.
Sorry about the rubbish picture!
