I'm sure you know how to force a long exposure using your favorite LC-A+ camera. By simply by covering the light meter with an electric tape or your finger will fake your LC-A+'s light metering system. Simple right? But in this quickie tipster, I'll teach you the simplest way to do it!
If you run out of electric tape or if you don’t trust your fingers to do the job, then do this:
Instead of setting the ASA label (100, 200, 400, 800, 1600) to the ASA window, block the light meter using these ASA or ISO values. See 2nd picture.
The logic behind is the same as the previous tipsters and here’s the reason why. The mechanical structure of LC-A+’s ASA setting is like this:

With proper adjustment, you can definitely block any source of light to get through the light meter by using the ASA setting itself.
The most effective way is to block the light meter using the ASA 100 label since it is in between two small holes.
