Hey girls! Do you also have a bunch of nail polish which you never ever use? Well here is how you can use them to customize your camera.
So we are already on week four of my internship at Lomography Headquarters and I finally did it! I got myself a new Diana Mini. But, as I think the individual touch of every picture is the most interesting aspect in analogue photography, I decided to give my new darling some individual touches. And, since there are always a lot of other cameras lying around in the office, I will just make sure there won’t be any confusions.
Here is what you need:
- Nail Polish
- Pair of Scissors
- Tape (of course you can also go for freestyle)
After taping my camera, I just put on the polish, let it dry a bit and removed the tape (remove it when the polish is still a bit wet). I thought for a start it’s best to go for small easy geometric figures. Make sure not to get too adventurous because Diana does not like aggressive polish remover.
So, what do you think of my design? Do you prefer your camera all natural or with a touch of creativity? If you go for customization make sure to let me know about your results!
