Don't know how to display your favorite photos? Here's a new way to show them off around your house, office, or room! Read more after the jump.
For the March issue of my Creative Corner series, I decided to find a new way to put up my photos. Follow these steps to re-create this two way accordion!
- A manila folder, or large card stock
- Two photos
- (opt.) Cardboard
- (opt.) Paint
- (opt.) Paintbrushes
Take your two photos and lay them side by side on the manila folder. Outline it and cut it out.
Divide and cut each photo into four even sections. You can number the backs so you remember what order the strips will go in.
Now line up the photos in the order that they will be taped on.
Tape the first strip onto the edge of the manila folder cut-out. Then bend the manila back behind the first strip.
Repeat with the strips, alternating the photos back and forth until you finish taping them all on.
Lay the accordion on the side. Take the cardboard and paint the entire side of it. After it dries, you can mount the accordion onto the cardboard.
Voila! You can now put up the accordion on your wall! If you lean to one side, you can see one photo. Lean to the other side and you can see the second photo! I hope you guys enjoy this tipster :)
