My Lomo-USB Flash Drive

If you are an analogue lover and you want your digital item to have a lomo flavour, here is the tipster for you! I have a simple way to turn your old USB flash drive into a lomographic beauty!

I bought my usb flash drive about 2 years ago but it had a boring blue color. After 2 years of heavy use, it was dirty, had scratches and still boring. So I came up with an idea: to make a custom “skin” for it. And what did I use for the “skin”? The lovely lomo-catalogue that my photo lab gave me for free!

What you will need:

  • A USB flash drive
  • Transparent tape
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • The Lomo-catalogue (or the paper from the packaging of your lomo gifts)

Simply measure the length of your USB flash drive and cut a strip with the same measurement from the catalogue. Put the transparent tape on top of the strip to make it more resistant. Put enough glue at the back of the strip and place the strip around the usb flash drive.

There you go! Simple! Tell me what you think.
