X-Pro the Other Way Around

Try x-pro the other way around and have some nice colored positives instead of negatives

Everybody knows the results of cross processing your slide film with the C041 chemical, but have you ever seen some photos which are cross-processed the other way around?

I used an ordinary negative film with 400 ISO and gave it to the lab for developing it with the e-6 chemical to get some positives.

I was not sure how the results will be. Will it be normal colors as every positive on slide films, deep orange colored photos of the safety layer from the film, or something completely different?

I love the photos which came out: a soft tone in color and contrast, perfect for human themes, portraits or other photography with organic content.

Here are some other results from the same roll, this time shots are mostly multi-exposures from outside on a sunny day:

Go and cross process your films with E-6!!!

I've always wanted to know what would happen! Every time I asked a lab technician they just said "it'll ruin your film" but clearly, it doesn't! Good job :D

I tried to do this and the lab told me it would cost $8 per photo on the roll. I nearly died.
