Several months ago I get myself a Zenit 12XP. I was very impatient to use it but the lightmeter wasn't really working and so I forgot the camera. Last week I finally finished the roll in it.

I get my Zenit 12XP from something like eBay in Switzerland. I was very happy to get another big SLR camera. I went to a shop, bought myself the right batteries and putted them in the camera. Everything was fine and the lightmeter worked fine but only for some hours or days, I can’t remember. And so I’ve totally forgotten my camera and the film in it too.

Last week I finally took the Zenit again in my hands and filled the film and developped it at my home. I’m sure, that the chemichals were still ok but the film wasn’t that good anymore after the long time in the camera. At first all of the shots looked very underexposed though I acted after the ‘sunny 16 rule’. Scanning was pretty hard, because there were all kind of different, washed out colors. Though I really like the results.

So just forget your cameras and the film in it for some time and see how it comes out!

Ya! I have a couple of expired slides around, which i kept lying around even longer... so by the time i use them, i really cant remember what colors i am "supposed" to expect from the film when i bought them from the store. But i would keep in mind of the iso though

Yeah, i used to tape the tag from the film box onto the back of the camera but now I say "see what happens"
