Diana Mini Snowcat

Use the scheme of your Diana clone on your Diana Mini!

Anyone who has ever looked through my Lomohome probably knows that the Diana Snowcat is my absolute favorite camera! I ordered it awhile ago not knowing what medium format film was. Much has happened since then and we have become a great team.

When the Diana Mini was released, I naturally purchased it, although I was not so enthusiastic about the combination of turquoise/black. Had I waited a bit, I would have probably opted for one of the lovely Mini clones out there now.

When I read the Tipster by mikahsupageek, I set off, bought acrylic paints, and went to work painting the Diana Mini to my expectation..
And voilà, here you can see the results!!

However, I would not recommend fully disassembling the Mini when painting because I seem to have damaged some of the mechanics by doing so and it gets stuck even more now.

I liked the idea of using velcro on the sides of my Holga (replacing the metal clips that fall off). I found some lime green (acid green). I like the title "Roswell," for it. I didn't come up with it, but think it's cool.
