Diana F+ Modification: The String-A-Long Tripod

A quick and easy way to get rid of the shake from your snapper. Anyone can do it and it opens up loads of new shooting possibilities too. Read on for the details!

Modification Skill Level: Easy

The tools of the trade: 1 long piece of string, 1 screw that fits into the tripod mount, a disc big enough to fit around your screw (all found at your local DIY store)

1. Tie your piece of string around the disc and slot it around the screw.
2. Screw everything into the tripod mount – not too tightly as it might put too much tension on the plastic later on.
3. To create the ultimate tripod effect – decide what level you want to shoot at and then put your foot firmly on the string. When you do this you can be sure that you are always shooting steady.

The Diana F+ is a new twist on the ‘60s classic cult camera. Famous for its dreamy and soft-focused images, the Diana F+ is now packed with extra features such as panorama and pinhole capabilities. Available in our Online Shop.
