Use your multiple exposure camera to make your images shift and stutter for an otherworldly weirdness.

This couldn’t be easier friends. Basically what you do is take any camera that does multiple exposures and take yourself outside. This is one that works really nice in the sunshine. Use your viewfinder very very carefully. Find an object in frame and place it in one corner of your viewfinder, make sure to remember where you lined it up. Take a picture, reset the shutter and then try to put the same reference object in the same place and take another picture.

This process gives you a weird overlap of images because no matter how hard you try or how careful you are it is near impossible to get the images to line up perfectly. Word of warning though to try you best to get the reference object back in the same place.

The fun of this technique is that you want the idea that there is something just a little off with your pictures, subtlety is the key here. The images give this otherworldly weirdness that is just fun. If you really want to mix it up you can put some color gels over the lens and use a different color with each exposure. This is basically a 1 out of 10 for difficultly factor yet the pictures, my mom says at least, come out looking like Bo Derrick.

wow, I love this! The effect reminds me of the Diana Multi Pinhole Operator. But you do this with every other camera. Great!
