Colour Your Ghosts by mantozauras

“Wow this is great double exposure shots.” These are the most recent words I always hear after showing colorful ghosts. There are some other words for example “how did you do that” after the moment when you tell that this is not a double exposure. So, how did I do that? It requires good preparation. You will need:

a) Any analogue camera having the B setting

b) Tripod

c) A cable release

d) A portable flash or in this case, the Colorsplash flash

e) A lot of friends and good mood!

f) Night and the darkness

Let’s begin by getting into the night or other kind of darkness. We want to do this little project in the great mood so we must to ask some cool people to come and to participate in it. Switch your analogue camera to setting B and mount it on the tripod. Plug in cable release and shut off all lights.

Release the shutter and hit the cable release for long exposure shot. As you can see there is darkness all around so it will take at least half an hour to exposure something on the film. There is good news though, we have Colorsplash flash! So you can stand in the situation you want and light you with it. After that you can stand into different position and light it one more time. So you will have you and your clone in the same picture.

To make it more interestingly crazy, you can direct your picture and use different color filters which are included in your Colorsplash flash. That’s all! Have fun and creative ghosts!
