The Diana Mini camera is a stunning little toy by itself, but what if you want to make some square splitzer shots with it?
What you need for this experience:
1) A Diana Mini camera
2) The LC-A+ Splitzer tool
3) And a bit of split imagination!
As the Splitzer can’t be fixed on the Diana Mini lens, you need to hold it in front of the lens and as I tried it out it wasn’t easy if you hold it on the “normal” side of the splitzer, but I noticed that if you hold it on the other way (the side where Lomography is written) the circle fits perfectly on the size of the mini lens! Ok, you still need to hold it by hand but there’s surely an easy way to fix it with some tape around it.
I thought after shooting that if the “Lomography” inscription and the red part of the Splitzer is on the lens side, it will affect the quality of the shots and that perhaps will be seen on the shots, but after seeing the results there was nothing of it, and the Splitzing came out great!
So, grab your Diana Mini, your LC-A+ Splitzer and shoot some surprising square splitzing doubles!! :)))
