The Diana+ Lens Cap Security Cord
written by dux_x on September 21st, 2009 , 14 comments (17 votes)

In the past we’re told that we have forget the lens cap, but times are changing and your loved one – the Diana F+ have a little gleamy and new plastic eye and you want to keep it shiny forever. So, give this a try and protect your beloved camera.

Nice and easy! Just get some nylon black cord (or any other stuff, like little chains, for example), drill a little hole in your lens cap, tie up to the camera and pass it through the little hole you just made and make a strong knot within it. With this, you´ll never lose your lens cap ever! Your Diana+ will keep it´s bright plastic eye like new for a long long time.

This could also be done with any camera and its lens cap.

I did this also since I've already dropped my lens cap about 10 times. I went to the craft store and got elastic nylon thread, so it's a little more flexible, and a bit thinner than the string in the pic above.
