Overblown, white washed flash photos? Why not try make this cheap diffuser for your Colorsplash flash!
We all know how cool the Colorsplash Flash is, but for all of its coolness it’s a bit primitive. It’s a purely manual flash with no sensor to control the amount of light that gets onto your subject. It’s pretty easy to blow out things that are close to you, especially if you’re using a sensitive film. If you know you’re going to be shooting things up close you may want to “soften” the light with a diffuser. This will also take the sharp edges off of your flash pictures.
This trick will also work with your Colorsplash camera! :)
