I have a friend who has a table in his living room. What was special about it is that you could light it! As with all living room tables, he used it to read the newspaper, lay his feet above it and also a fashionable piece for serving alcohol during parties. I have been dreaming to have my own (or at least use one) light table myself where I can fill my film strips and take shots of them or just simply admire the effect. And it came true when I moved to his place for a couple of months… and one weekend he left me alone with the table… my most wildest perversions came true!
So I asked Stephane (aka Stouf) if he would like to participate in a film strip show with the light table and with no hesitation, he brought the films he shot while we were in the Arctic during January 2008 (check his “When Holga went in the Arctic”:http://beta.lomography.com/magazine/blog/2009/01/11/when-holga-went-in-the-arctic entry in the blog). The moment we started setting the films on the table, the images started to glow! it was exciting!. Results of the strip show were really sexy…
Now this friend of mine already moved and so has the table… but the story I had with it for one day will not be forgotten! So if you ever have the opportunity of having a sexy time with a light table, even if it is the one of your friend, do not hesitate!
