One of the things I prefer to do with my cameras is to play with their formats... That's maybe why my favorite is the Horizon!
Sensitive souls, be aware, this is hardcore modification… What you have to do is take your Horizon (whatever model should work!), and… Don’t open it yet… Just flip it 90°… No particular technical skills required, and totally reversible!
I love shooting vertically with my horizon! With a traditional camera you often have this problem of making this high building, this tower, this crane or that giraffe into your viewfinder, and when you finally get it, it looks too small or too far… With your “Vertizon”, you’ll make it fit easily in your super high shot, getting both the ground and the sky, and some awesome distortion all the way up!!
90°… Not so much to pay for a ticket to heaven!
