MULTIPLY YOURSELF! by Vicuna

“__Well, it’s not so difficult to make a “multiply yourself” autoportrait with Lubitel+. Here’s what you need:

1. A Lubitel
2. A slow film (I used a Fuji Pro 160S) because you will make multiple exposures with flash, so you don’t burn your film.
3. A ringflash and/or colorsplash flash and/or a wide angle slave flash.
4. A tripod & cable release.
5. A mirror.

So, when you are all ready, set your camera in front of the mirror, choose the aperture f22 and 1/250 exposure. Turn off the light (the best is to be in complete darkness) and hold your Ringflash in one hand, the wide angle slave flash in the other. How can you shoot then?? Well, your mouth is available to take the cable release and to press the button…. Then you must put at least one of the 2 flashes beside you to re-cock the shutter, find a new different position (the best way is to change the orientation of the flashes) and shoot again and again and again…. That’s the extreme solution, because you can’t find an easier way to hold your Ringflash or slave flash place while your hand is preoccupied with pressing the shutter and since the teeth shooting is not always the easiest…. And the most importantly, Have fun!!! :)__"
