From USSR with Lomography Love!

Here’s what I have been doing lately: combining two cameras together. Smena 8M, a true-blooded Russian camera with its great capture lends a hand together with Lomography’s Actionsampler.

What do you get? Andy Warhol in Russian style! Four pieces of extraordinaire 0.66 second motion frame shot, added with a stark of the Smena 8M’s lens, shots can perhaps be your ideal Romanov style!

I first loaded my Actionsampler with a color negative film. Took some shots whatever comes my way, and after finishing the roll, I transferred the film (by not rewinding the whole film but instead leaving the film lead outside) to my Smena 8M. The best part of this is concentrating on Rule #10 (Don’t worry about any rules); I used to love a good double exposure without any marks or anything. But with this one, I ventured on Lomo attitude. I just inserted the film in my Smena 8M and didn’t bother if my shots are placed rightfully together with the first exposures.

Now here are the shots that I got using this technique.

    woah! the last time we viewed this, it appeared in the blog section and no tipster or anything. Getting on tipster wouldn't mean a piggy, right?
    @Kirri joy: thanks!
