Tipster Of The Day: Infinite Encounters Of The Plastic Kind

Using film cameras at this time and age is already enough to alienate the person sitting next to us that it will instantly give an impression about us not being ahead of the modern world and still have a lot of things to cope with.

We beg to differ because conversely we have something to brag about…

PINHOLE CLOSE UPS by artpunk

“__With the Diana + the “plus” of a pinhole aperture opens up so many creative possibilities! One nice thing about a very, very tiny aperture is that it gives an (almost) infinite depth of field, so try and get as close to your subject as you want (within reason) for some great results. With your camera firmly set on a tripod for stability, set the aperture to “P” & shutter to “B” and gently remove the lens by rotating it counter-clockwise. You can leave the lens on, but set the distance to the closest setting (1 – 2 M) for “Magnum Pinhole” photography. With ISO 400 film open the shutter for approximately 2 seconds in bright sunlight to 30 seconds in shaded conditions. Double to triple the time for these exposures using ISO 100 film.__"

With lens or none at all, analogue photography doesn’t only ends when you rewind the film it also begins with you everytime you further stretch its abilities and make everything about it modern all over again.

So please don’t stop the analogue cycle and let your tips be known here
