Tipster Of The Day: From The Ground Up
written by scapegoat on November 30th, 2008 , 1 submission , 6 comments (1 vote)

Out of excitement upon taking your self-portrait, it seems like you got yourself entangled helplessly with that 10-meter cable release you just bought that it’s impossible for you to get out of it now. Spare yourself from this embarrassment and let your toes do the job for you the next time around. How so? read on…

SHOOT FROMTHE FEET! by Champi

Or to be exact, shoot with the feet!! Just cock your Horizon, set it and put it on the floor… You will then need to have monkey toes (or better yet, find something to help you press the shutter release button) And that’s it, you’ve been shooting with the feet!! Strange perspectives and awesome self-portraits guaranteed!

It is only yourself (or your own body parts) can push the limit of the potential ability that can define the future of analogue imagery. If you got a tip that you think can be useful – may it be a photographic technique or a camera modification – don’t be too shy to share them to us here.

I never thought of doing that but since I have monkey toes, I'll have to give it a try. Thanks for sharing!
