Tipster Of The Day: Ephemeral Light Streaks
written by scapegoat on August 30, 2008 , 10 comments (4 votes)

It is one of those things that you can do in long exposure photography where you can defy both time and space and at the same time having fun while encapsulating this phenomenon permanently on its purest analogue state…

LIGHT PEN by gupree

Nothing special, just set your ColorsplashCam on B mode, press and hold the shutter and while you’re on it, just use a flashlight and write anything you want. And when satisfied let go of the shutter to splash the scene with your selected Chakra-colour. This is fun!

I think this is something elpussycat didn’t know, that this is actually can be done with the ColorsplashCam. So grab a camera and let everyone know that you’re a Lomographer, now!

I've tried to do this so many times but I can never find a pen light when I need one. :-(

Also, I'm pretty sure you didn't mean "ephemeral" (temporary). Did you mean "ethereal" (heavenly; delicate; otherworldly)?
