Tipster of the Day: Colour Your Lens
written by scapegoat on May 28th, 2008 , 8 comments (9 votes)

If you think there’s not enough Chakra power in Colorsplashing and cross-processing slide films is becoming more of a stale Lomographic habit for you, then i might have found the cure for that colour-saturation blindness:

COLORGELS ON LENS
by escapologist

“__Just use a tape and put your colorgels from your colorsplash onto the opening of your camera’s lens. You can tape two or more color gels if you cut them up into small pieces.__"

Pretty neat, eh? Maybe you too got something in there quite useful. Don’t hesitate and let me know here and keep in mind that there’s always something for the relentless, productive and patient Lomotipster, so be quick!

on a budget? try using some coloured tic tac boxes they work great for flash gels too, if you want to keep them try piercing a hole in one corner and putting them on a keyring.
don't like holding them in front of the lens/ flash?? easy stick on with some velcro dots!

    That's very nice and cheap!
