It has three platforms: Metro, S-trains (greater Copenhagen metropolitan area), and regional- and InterCity trains (throughout the country). It's the busiest station in Denmark - approximately 300000 people travel through every day. Currently, it's the only station that connects to both the Metro and regional train networks.

Suvarnabhumi Airport

by eazy360
posted 11 months agoGazing out my window as the plane rounded the tarmac, the first thing that caught my eye at this modern airport were the interlace of steel that roofed the terminals. Upon entering, the extensive, bright and airy interior embraces everyone with distinct local hospitality: "Welcome to Thailand!"

Wuppertaler Schwebebahn

by scorpie

3 commentsPublic transport in Wuppertal is a unique experience, and also quite an adventure, especially if you're scared of heights. To get in and out of the swaying carriages of the Schwebebahn („floating train“) takes a bit of strong nerves but you'll be rewarded with a fun ride and (more or less) exclusive views into people's backyards – keep your camera ready!

Port of Nice

2 votesThe port of Nice is one of my favorite place to shoot. It's a very inspiring place, not only because it's a wide open space in front of the sea, but also because there are always a lot of new big ships to see, prestigious old sailboats or impressing giant cruisers.

BTS Skytrain (Bangkok)

by eazy360
posted about 1 year agoNot all too trustful of the tuk-tuks? In Thailand's congested capital, the efficient transport backbone is the Bangkok Mass Transit System (BTS) Skytrain, which was opened to the public in 1999 and currently undergoing expansion. Modeled after Vancouver's, this elevated rail system runs through 23 stations along two lines- Silom and Sukhumvit-that tangentially interchange at Siam Station.

one comment and 1 voteIf every time you see a Vespa you can't avoid looking at it and enjoy its wonderful curves. Then, if you ever happen to be in Tuscany, you should go to Museo Piaggio in Pontedera, a small town near Pisa, where most of the Vespas you have seen where made.

Jeepney

by lomowendy
posted about 1 year ago
1 voteThere is no other transportation in the Philippines as ubiquitous as the Philippine jeepney. A hybrid of the American jeep, the Philippine jeepney came around the 1950's to fill in the need for mass transport. From the basic grayish silver color to fully "pimped out" complete with stereo blaring and disco lights inside, the jeepney is a sight to see! The jeepney by far, is the most useful, and most affordable means of mass transport found all over the country. Every jeepney has different routes, depending on the location, and has more access than the usual bus routes. Minimum fare is $0.15, but goes higher depending how far along the route you go, and it usually seats around 10 to 20 passengers, depending on its size and make. It can be flagged down wherever and whenever, on a busy street. Once you're inside, just hand over your fare to the driver - if you have change, the driver can multitask! He can count change, manoeuvre his way around traffic, pick up passengers - all by himself! Majority of jeepneys has no air-conditioning, and be prepared to get your hair messed up, or to even get sweaty as you experience the ride. It is truly a unique experience, only in the Philippines.
