Urbiztondo is a great surfing spot for beginners and hardcore surfers alike! It is located in San Juan, La Union, a 5 hour drive from Manila, Philippines. The beach is great, the waves are awesome and most importantly, the locals are nice! It is also a great spot to document with your lomo cameras!

"If everybody had an ocean/Across the U. S. A./Then everybody'd be surfin'/Like Californi-a" Well, when the Beach Boys sang this "Surfin' USA" 1963, they surely didn't think that it would be possible to surf in Munich, hundreds and hundreds km far away from the sea (and more from California of course...)

Cardiff State beach is my absolute favorite summertime haunt. Although I give it love year round there is nothing better than a sunny summer day spent surfing and swimming in the ocean followed by relaxing on the beach with good friends, good music and a cool drink.

Don't be intimidated by the name. It is possible. IF you know the way. Just don't miss the turn. Park your car right up the top and go all the way down by foot. Before you start making your descent, you will be halted on the top of the cliff as your sight fills up with a spectacular view of the beach below and you will stand in AWE for about 4 minutes.

People called Bali as The Island of God. It is probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever been from its beaches to its mountain. Bali is paradise, from the moment you step out of the airplane the smell of Bali strikes you.

If you want to take a break from the smoggy, bustling city, Santa Barbara is where you need to be. It's no Hawaii, but it's a nice and atmospheric change from your usual life. Whatever you want to do, it's in your reach. Whether it be camping, surfing, shopping, wine tasting, or just plain roaming, it's all here. Just don't try to do everything in one day. I tried, its impossible.

Aurora Province is located on the East-Central side of Luzon Island in the Philippines. Many of its municipalities were once part of Quezon Province. Aurora became an official province in 1979. This is why when I told some friends I went to Aurora, they said, “Oh you went to Quezon.” I had to correct them.

Tamraght is a small town some kilometres up north from Agadir. It is quieter and less famous neighbour of the surfer's and hippie town Taghazoute. One of my favourite places to get some really good winter swell and nice and warm days during the European wintertime; everything packed into the fairytale-like ambience of Morocco.

During a Lomo outing with a bunch of Lomogrpahers to Kuantan, we passed by a beach named Telok Chempedak. The first impression of Telok Chempedak beach was like in heaven - golden sands, waves, sun, people, everything was just great! I love this place so much. Telok Chempedak is located just approximately 5 km from the Kuantan town.

Mounting the waves becomes more challenging and exciting as the cold winter months creep in. All around Taiwan, swells from September to October are 3-5 feet (one to nearly two meters). The largest waves, 5-6 feet (two meters), are found from November to February. So seriously, if you want to catch the best waves, it's time to boogie.
