2 comments and 1 voteIt amazes me now, in retrospect, that I spent seventeen years of adolescence waiting for the day when I could leave my hometown of Newport Beach, California. Sea, sand, surf and surfers: Newport Beach is truly a place unlike any other.

Aurora became an official province in 1979. This is why when I told some friends I went to Aurora, they said, “Oh you went to Quezon.” I had to correct them.
