23 comments and 10 votesThe ONLY film worth using during classic tweed cycling events: I went on a quick hunt for flat caps and tweed jackets and realised that my old Yashica Twin Lens would really fit the Look! and what better film to use than the Rollei Retro 400!

K-J Bowl, Edmonton

one comment and 1 voteI'm sick of constantly relying on my car to get to where I need to go, so I'm always on the look-out for interesting things to do in the neighbourhood close to home. This strip-mall basement bowling alley is a throw back to the 60s, and I've totally fallen in love with it. I've discovered that 5 pin bowling is something the whole family can enjoy - me, my wife, my five year old, and my 2-1/2 year old all have a blast at K-J Bowl.

3 comments and 2 votesThe picture of a monochrome: I kept this roll of film for few years and finally the time has come for me to use it on my Fisheye2 during an outing to a lake. I shoot with it indoors and outdoors and also at night, everywhere!

Agfa's Little Black Box

one comment and 3 votesThe Agfa Synchro Box or in short Agfa Box was thrown onto the German camera market back in 1949 and in production until the late 1950s. So you see, this camera is a very old one! It takes 120 medium format film and the images have a size of 6x9cm, either landscape or upright - depends on how you hold the camera. But the general handling of the Box allow rather upright than landscape pictures.

5 commentsI really love the b&w Rollei retro film for this very special "taste" of b&w. Deep contrast but with a great and subtle range of white, gray & black that gives your shots a very rich texture.
