If you have the chance one day to visit French Polynesia, the city of Papeete will be the first place you'll see and visit. If you expect the mythical image of Tahiti, you'll be disappointed, because it's not the right place for this! But there are other things to see...

Abra De Ilog is a 4th class municipality in the province of Occidental Mindoro, Philippines. Its name was from folk history meaning “embrace of the river”. It is located in the West side of Mindoro Island in the Southern Tagalog Region.

The pier of Nice is one of my favorite place to shoot: a beautiful place, the sea, boats & ferries, people, well, a perfect place to make pictures! The pier of Nice is located at the entry of the port and is a fascinating place to have a walk, meet with friends, have some nice time to sit down to look at the sea and the boats...

Do you remember? Bogart is wonderful as the mysterious café owner with a past, set up in the nightclub business with his longtime friend and piano player, Sam. His haven is disrupted when his one-time love Ilsa arrives in the company of a world-renowned resistance leader Victor Laszlo, whom the Nazis would very much like to get their hands on. Bogart and Bergman shine in this movie. The gorgeous black and white deep focus photography adds a nostalgic air of beauty and elegance to the movie.

About the sessions?? – We have many ways to get into a new city. You can drive your own car or bike. But when you do that, in fact you have no arrival spot at all. You can go to London in your car, but in fact when you arrive in London? It's when you get a hotel? Or when you see Piccadilly? "In our minds" (not in maps) "destination was always a state of mind."

The port of Nice is one of my favorite place to shoot. It's a very inspiring place, not only because it's a wide open space in front of the sea, but also because there are always a lot of new big ships to see, prestigious old sailboats or impressing giant cruisers.

You can find war memorials everywhere in France, every city or village has their own and they were mostly built after the WW1, as young people from everywhere in France died during this terrible war or collective massacre (over 1,5 million french victims and over 9 million victims in all...!)

The Mediterranean Sea is gorgeous - it has got the crossed water (not blue, not green - the "between" of both, like in doubles). So why not to discover it (the Sea) from the middle of it, ah? Well, you need to be a really good swimmer, or... need some luck to get to Marseille. The city itself is also so interesting, that you can even forget the plans of taking a trip with the boat in the Mediterranean Sea, so be calm and go straight ahead till you reach the old port, which is called Vieux-Port de Marseille.

40% of the fishes eaten by the French are farm fishes. When you'll go to Marseille, don't miss the traditional fish market that stands everyday on the Old Port (Le Vieux Port), on Belgian platform (Quai des Belges). The old fish-market (La Criée) has become the National Theater of the town. So, every morning, the fish-market takes place. The fishermen sell their fish on their own. They wake up very early, take fish (or not) from their nets, and go back to the harbor. Fresh, fresh fish! "Il est frais, il est frais mon poisson!" shouts the fishmonger.

Besides the sun, the breeze and the sightseeing, the South Street Seaport offers an unmistakeable smell which only the toughest of Lomographers dare expose themselves (and their beloved Lomos) to. Dominated by a big something-or-other shopping mall (absolute highlight: massage chairs in the hallways) where endless of hours can be spent on rainy days, but little is ever bought, the location offers a dominant smell of rotten fish and a generally unfriendly atmosphere coming from the eatery staff. Huge sandwiches are a must for all that dare to enjoy some of the all-American cuisine. Don't miss out on the masses of Chinese tourists running across the dock, or the action under the bridge.

This poor abandoned ship is steeped in history. She was built in 1937 for the Southern Railway Company, weighed some 566 tonnes and was finished to a very high standard. She had a promenade deck with observation lounge and a large saloon, restaurant, tea room, smoking room and Ladies' room on the main deck. She operated an all-year round service between Portsmouth and Ryde on the the Isle of Wight before the outbreak of World War II. During the war she served first as a minesweeper, was converted into an anti-aircraft vessel and took part in the Normandy Landings in June of 1944 and was returned to her normal passenger service after the war in 1945. She was eventually replaced by more modern motor vessels but still operated occasionally as a relief vessel. I can remember as a young child the excitement, if when we travelled to the mainland we were fortunate enough to sail on the PS Ryde which was then the last Paddle Steamer working on the Solent.
