Hoppings Funfair

posted about 1 year ago*When to go*: in July *What to see*: What isn't there to see! Eat hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, toffee apples, pop corn and candy floss to your heart's content and then be thrown around in a wild, spinning, twisting-up-side-down spaceship while tripping the light fantastic and chucking your guts up. Prepare for blast off!

Rave Festival (San Francisco)

by montw
posted about 1 year agoThis is not such a nice festival for a kid to go but for me, I won't miss it if I have a chance to attend one of them. Dj, trance music, rave, light show, argon laser beam, visual - all of these elements is what I love about raves. SF is one of the cities that has a best rave event to attend.

2 votesMy favorite locations of all times are SOUL FUNK PARTIES by DJ CHAK. They take place regularly once a month in the oldest and busiest clubs of the city - GRIBOEDOV club. It is found inside a bomb-shelter which was built during the Cold War back in the 1950s.

Tashkent

2 votesUzbekistan is mainly known, for its ancient cities on the old silk road such as Bukhara and Samarkand. Despite the beauty of these towns Tashkent became the capital of the Uzbek SSR in 1930. The great history of Tashkent is not really visible. Maybe that has something to do with the fact that Ghengis Khan in 1219 and the Russians in 1865 destroyed it big time. Still, there remained some major and the only well preserved mosques of the areas.
