1 voteYou would think that, with our great love of Disney fairy tales we would have a bit more respect for an actual, real-life, honest to God palace. But you would be wrong! He bought the ruins of an old monastery, from which you can still visit the cloister and the chapel, rebuild it and adapted into the royal's family summer palace. 2 commentsWelcome to Marie Antoinette's world! Visiting the Palace of Versailles is truly an amazing experience. The luxury inside the palace is absolutely ridiculous: ceiling fresco paintings, sculptures, glass chandeliers, massive pieces of silver furniture ... These people had lost their heads...literally.
